Editorial Policy

NetMoneyLab exists to explain, with real numbers and sources, the legitimate ways to sell, market and earn money online. This page sets out the rules every piece of content follows.
How we pick stories
We follow official marketplace and platform blogs, help centers, government agencies and publications that cover ecommerce and marketing. We prioritize what changes something for readers: a new fee, a shipping rule, a change to ad tools, a scam making the rounds. We also publish practical guides on the questions sellers and beginners search for most.
How we check facts
- Every piece of information comes from open sources we actually read, linked at the end of the article.
- Numbers, fees and prices only appear when they are on a page we opened, always with the date we checked (“as of October 2026”). Fees change, so check the current figure before you decide.
- Marketplace rules are checked against the platform’s official help center.
- Information from a single source is attributed to it (“according to X”).
- Rumors are labeled as rumors, with a note that they are unconfirmed.
- We don’t copy other outlets. Every article is written from scratch, with explanation and comparison.
The “In practice” box
Every article includes an “In practice” box: what changes for you, what it costs, how long it takes to see a first result, what the risks are and who it is not for. If a path requires upfront money, inventory or months of work, that is where you’ll see it.
What we don’t publish
- Earnings promises, guaranteed income or revenue figures presented as an expected result.
- Recommendations for pyramid schemes, multi-level marketing, paid-task apps (“get paid to click or watch”), gambling and sports betting, trading, crypto as income, binary options, counterfeit or replica products, or buying followers or reviews.
- Known scams appear only as warnings, with the red flags that help you spot them.
Taxes (LLCs, 1099 forms and similar topics) are covered only as general information, with a link to the official source. NetMoneyLab is not a financial, legal or tax advisor: for your own situation, talk to a licensed professional.
Use of artificial intelligence
Articles are bylined NetMoneyLab Newsroom and written with the help of artificial intelligence, based on the sources we read, following these rules and under the supervision of our editor, Clóvis Eduardo Escarabelin. Before publication, every article goes through automated quality checks (sources, length, banned terms).
Featured images are illustrations generated by artificial intelligence, not real photos. In shopping content, we use a real product photo, with the credit shown below it.
Corrections
To request a correction, email contato@netmoneylab.com with the article link and, if possible, the official source. We review requests within five business days. When a correction changes the meaning of a piece of information, the article shows its update date and a note explaining what changed.
Advertising, affiliates and independence
The site is supported by ads and, in some articles, by affiliate links. Neither influences which stories we cover, how we compare options or what we conclude. Ads are labeled “Advertisement”, sponsored content is always identified, and the affiliate notice appears before the first link. See our Affiliate Disclosure.
